Rob is a Senior Environmental Scientist specializing in Contaminated Sites assessment and remediation. He is registered as a Professional Chemist with the Association of the Chemical Profession of British Columbia, is a member in good standing of the Contaminated Sites Approved Professionals Society and has been appointed to the BC Ministry of Environment’s Roster for professional experts in contaminated sites work. Since 2000, Rob has worked with clients across western and northern Canada, from individuals and small businesses to governments and international corporations on project sites across the commercial, real estate, manufacturing, agricultural, mining, oil and gas, and petrochemical industries. Rob is well versed in the relevant environmental regulations of the British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, and Alberta, as well as Canadian federal guidelines. He has more than 14 years of broad technical and project management experience in contaminated sites work, and has held decision-making roles for more than a decade. Rob has completed assessments and remediations over a range of soil types and hydrogeological conditions for petroleum hydrocarbons, halogenated organics, glycols, amines, salts and metals, among other contaminants. He has been the project lead and/or expert reviewer on several high-profile commercial and industrial development sites in BC that have been contaminated and then remediated to provincial standards, and had BC Ministry of Environment Instruments issued.
