Undergraduate Student Member Scholarship

The ACPBC Undergraduate Student Scholarship is awarded annually to an ACPBC student member enrolled in third or fourth year of an undergraduate Chemistry program. The award is equally based on academic performance in all completed Chemistry courses and service to the Chemistry profession.

Required documentation to be uploaded in PDF form:

  1. A short letter to the ACPBC Scholarship Committee introducing yourself (name, contact information, university, year of study, and description of service to profession outside classes and laboratory.
  2. Administrative transcript for up to the January 2024 semester that lists both current registration major and grades.
  3. Two supporting documents/reference letters from professional staff affirming your involvement in service to the profession.
    • Examples include participation in National Chemistry week, Open Houses, Chemistry mentoring, involvement in a student Chemistry organization, or work experience at a Science Camp. 
    • Reference letters must include a contact name, email address, and professional registration details of staff.
    • If reference is not a Professional Chemist, write “Not a professional member” in the Registration body field.
  4. Optionally, you may include a CV of your Chemistry related activities for consideration.
